LIVERPOOL
One of the world’s biggest clubs, so it’s no surprise that tickets are hard to come by. Anfield’s capacity of 46,000 doesn’t quite put it alongside the likes of Old Trafford, so there is a waiting list for tickets to Premier League games, but tickets can often be picked up for Cup matches, whether in the Europa League or in the domestic competitions. Outside of match days, there are always stadium tours and trips to the museum that we can organise for you from the hostel. On these tours, you will be taken around the historic home of the Reds, as well shown the well-stocked trophy cabinet, home to 19 league championships and a real-life Champions League trophy – the reward for winning 5 European Cups.
Prices are £14 for adults, £8 for students.

EVERTON
Sure, their trophy cabinet doesn’t quite have the sparkle of their fierce rivals across the park, but Everton’s still-impressive history makes a trip to Goodison Park well worth the effort. Tickets are slightly easier to come by than Liverpool for Premier League matches, and reductions are often made to prices for domestic competitions. If your trip to Liverpool doesn’t happen to coincide with a home fixture, there still is the option of a stadium tour where you can visit the dressing room Cahill, Arteta et al call home.
Prices are reasonable, too, with prices for tours starting at £8.50 for adults and just £5 for under 16s.

Football? Ugh. Not this year. I’m giving it up, not after that summer…
What? I have to? Oh.
Only Trabzonspor stand in the way of Liverpool’s hopes of reaching the group stage of the Europa League. It’s all change at Anfield this term with Roy Hodgson taking charge following Rafa Benitez’s switch to Inter Milan and they will be looking to get off to a flyer against the Bordo-Mavililer (The Maroon-Blues, since you asked). Liverpool overcame the FC Rabotnicki 4-0 on aggregate in the last round in what proved to be a useful run-out for Hodgson’s charges.
It remains to be seen whether a more experienced line-up will be named, after Liverpool’s World Cup stars Dirk Kuyt and Javier Mascherano will feature. Oh, and Steven Gerrard, of course.
Tickets are available from: here.
The first leg will take place at Anfield on Thursday 19th August and we have beds available (at the time of writing) starting from £15 for a standard dorm room, going up to £45 for a double or twin room, though these prices are liable to change, so book soon. You can call us on 0151 709 5570, drop us an email on liverpool@hattersgroup.com or book on this here website.

In a week that saw Liverpool FC undone by Darren Bent and a stray beachball, the goal, if you haven’t seen it – how couldn’t you have!?!, we’ve been preparing ourselves for a busy week of footballing action, here at Hatters Liverpool. First, Liverpool welcome Lyon in a Champions League showdown, needing a win to get their qualification campaign back on track after a wobble against Fiorentina. They will, of course, be hoping for no further intervention from this years LFC official merchandise collection, although a header from this fella into the Lyon net tonight would be a welcome early Christmas present for Rafa’s men.
Liverpool are also gearing up to face the old enemy next Sunday, as Manchester United make the trip up the M62 to Anfield for a mouthwatering early-season test of the Reds’ title credentials. Here’s hoping Sir Alex is fitted with an official LFC watch, rather than his usual “Fergie Time” timepiece.
It’s not just the red side of Merseyside in for a big week though, as Everton are also in continental action in Portugal on Thursday night. They will face the mighty Benfica at Estadio Da Luz in Europa League Group I, and will hope to build on their encouraging 2-1 win against Bate Borisov last time out. The Toffees will also face Bolton back on home-soil on Sunday afternoon, and will need to convince the Goodison Park faithful after a disappointing draw with Wolves last week.
Now, how to convince the owners to install a massive plasma screen with full sports package in reception…? Answers on a postcard, folks.
