The Parklife Festival featuring gigs with Friendly Fires, Calvin Harris and  Erol Alkan among others has been sold for a little while now. 20.000 people will be comin to Platt Fields Park for it’s 100 anniversary for a day of music, singing, dancing, eating, drinking and partying. Then join us in the MAD FERRET FESTIVAL - 12-13 JUNE 2009, Platt Fields Park. Get you moves out because we are going to dance our socks off!! The Streets, Pendulum (DJ Set), Roots Manuva, Finley Quaye, Franz Ferdinand (DJ Set), … These are just a few of the 60 bands and 100 DJs that will entertain you over the two days on 9 different stages! As there is no camping available at the festival Hatters or Hilton Chambers are the perfect places to stay over the weekend! Platt Fields Park is about 2 miles from the city centre (where we are) and is easily reachable by public transport or even by foot if you still feel like walking after a whole day of partying. A taxi won’t cost a lot either! Join up with other festival goers in the hostels, meet new friends before you even get to the park and, at the end of the day, have a good night’s sleep to prepare yourself for a second day of partying, drinking and dancing!
